There are other intangible benefits that are less quantifiable - like not losing incumbency to an emerging competitor, getting recognized on industry-specific leaderboards, discovering unique uses of the product etc. Your list of questions gave me new ideas to reframe some of my logic and presentation of the problem.
Along the lines of the book - The Mom Test - which is about fiding problems worth solving. Best read of the month, I would day. Plus, lots of communication level insights around expressing things to the team and boss and what not.
